Lauren's Ladder donates $10,000 to Stoner-Thomas School

January 15, 2015 -- Lauren's Ladder made its largest gift to date to support nearly 100 children with physical, mental and/or developmental disabilities at Stoner-Thomas School in Lexington. This contribution is possible because of your generosity and ongoing support.
Jonathan Hayes, principal of Stoner-Thomas School, said the funds will be used to purchase tools and supplies to assist students with math skills, sensory needs and coping skills. He added that these are items that would benefit all students in the school but were not possible due to budget constraints.
"We're just blown away to receive this on behalf of Lauren and Lauren's Ladder," Hayes said. "We appreciate it so much. Words can't explain how grateful we are. We hope that through this generous donation we'll be able to continue to do what we do and honor their gift. This will provide additional ways to assist the students."
Lauren's Ladder aims to spread the love and light of Lauren Cecil by supporting the educational, emotional, physical, social and spiritual growth of children.
